VATICAN - While pushing for peace in Ukraine, the Pope made an unfortunate slip-up.
During his weekly blessing from the Vatican, Pope Francis mistakenly said the Italian version of the F-word. The 77-year-old is Argentinian, and the Italian word for "example" is not far off one of the worst curse words.
Pope Francis quickly corrected himself, but the mistake went viral with hundreds weighing in.
Many people came to the pontiff's defense saying the slip-up is common among Spanish speakers. The Vatican isn't commenting on the misstep.
