KUSA - A Huerfano County teenager who has been missing for over a week has been found safe in Walsenburg, according to a Facebook post from the Huerfano County Sheriff's Office.

Shanelle Bobian, 17, left her home in Walsenburg at around 3 a.m. on Aug. 22. She was picked up by the Arvada Police Department on Sunday.

Authorities say she was being housed by a person of interest, and they are investigating harboring charges.

The Huerfano County Sheriff's Office is exploring similar charges against Walsenburg residents who allegedly withheld information, according to the Facebook post.

Earlier this week, the sheriff's office said Bobian had a fight with her mother, and in the past, she would go to a friend's or family member's home.
