ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - The body found in the Roaring Fork River on Monday has been identified as that of a transient man from Aspen.
The Aspen Daily News reports that a fishing guide found the body of 59-year-old Patrick Dirk Lane near Stein Park.
Pitkin County law enforcement officials say his body was about 6 feet away from the shore in water that was about 6 inches deep. It didn't appear it had been there very long.
