Police said six people were arrested during a protest in downtown Denver.


KUSA – Denver Police said six protesters were arrested Saturday evening near the 16th Street Mall in downtown.

The group was showing solidarity with other protesters in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Police used pepper spray on some protesters after they interfered with police activity and on-going arrests.

There were no reports of property damage and no officers were injured.
