GOLDEN - Mimi, formerly named Buttercup, came into Foothills Animal Shelter in April 2014 with lots of issues.
She was shy and had a hard time warming up to new people. Her fur was severely matted.
However, after months of successful foster care, Mimi was ready to be adopted.
In July, Linda and Dick found Mimi.
Linda and Dick say Mimi has made remarkable progress since being adopted. She loves to explore in the backyard and even rolls around the grass with all four legs up in the air.
